You know, I'd forgotten just how funny (and well made) My Fair Lady is. I bought a remastered copy back at the beginning of November and started watching.
The main reason I am watching My Fair Lady is research.
Research into a character.
A character in the movie.
A character I am bringing to life at the annual Dickens Festival in Holly, MI this December.
You see, I have been "persuaded" to portray none other than Professor Henry Higgins.
Once again, I am forced to wonder just what have I gotten myself into. What was I thinking? Was I thinking? Rex Harrison's shoes are a little large for me to try filling. But try I will.
They've even found me an Eliza Doolittle. How funny is that?
I really should learn one of those songs Higgins sings...

First you doodle something.
Then you give it life.
Next thing you now, every character you ever came up with is freeloading off of you.
I'm rather enjoying your story of Slade O'Niel.
